The total cost, including all examinations, is therefore a function of age

Is it reimbursed?
- The medical examination for immigration to the USA (Dr. AUBERT’s examination, basic biological assessment, and chest X-ray) is not considered by the French Health Insurance system as a reimbursable procedure. You will therefore not be able to obtain any reimbursement from the health insurance system or your mutual insurance company. However, in many professional fields, it is possible to negotiate reimbursement by your (future) employer in the United States: be sure to keep the invoices from Dr. Aubert, the laboratory, and the radiologist!
- If you have a chronic condition, the US administration may request some additional tests: these will be covered by French health insurance, as they are carried out in the interests of your health.
